The McDaniel-Tichenor House is part of the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful, historic mansion has enduring ties to the community and many institutions founded by Governor McDaniel and his heirs, most notably the Georgia Institute of Technology. The home’s mission is to memorialize the legacy of a family that forever impacted the economic growth of the state of Georgia, by providing support of educational programs and by hosting private and community events.
