This camp is for girls ages 8 to 12.
Monday thru Thursday, July 7-10, 2013 from 1:00PM-4:00PM.
Activities will include the arts including photography, art class,
and dance, personal hygiene including
skincare and nails, table etiquette while incorporating history of
games, food fun emphasizing nutrition and discussion. Snacks will be provided.
Cost is $100.00. This camp will
build self esteem and teach your daughter skills that will help to
develop her full potential as a young lady. Registration deadline is
June 15, 2014. Limit of 24 divas.
Our annual Christmas reception and silent auction showcasing
miniature Christmas trees, wreaths, swags and centerpieces for
bidding. Each decorated in a unique style by our community's
leading individuals and business volunteers. Enjoy Delicious
Holiday Food and Beverage while bidding on your favorite evergreen.

Tea Time at Mrs. Tichenors*
In keeping with our English tradition, this afternoon high tea
for ladies offers a menu of dainty sandwiches, scones with jam and
butter, cakes, and cookies all served with a variety of hot teas.
Join your friends and the opportunity to meet new friends while
enjoying a relaxing cup of hot tea. Each table is uniquely
decorated by our community volunteers who donate their time to help
educate the community about the McDaniel-Tichenor House. Sunday,
April 27, 2014 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Easter Egg Hunt
This event is sponsored by the Monroe Junior Service League.
It is free to the community and held here at the McDaniel-Tichenor
House. This year there is a new twist to the Easter Egg Hunt
which includes a weenie roast for all children before the egg
hunt at 7:00pm.
The event is in the evening, so bring your flashlight and your
basket and be ready to collect all the eggs hidden across the
